Introduction to Colour Theory and Painting course
Lecture 1 and video 1
Some auto-biographical descriptions of my art career, with some examples of my work ranging from 1994 to 2018. Explanations of my political views on art and where it is placed in the context of the professional art world. Descriptions of how I learnt I colour theory and some history of my professional training in painting.
My background in Chemisrty
Part of the reason why, I’m aware of the chemistry of artist materials, is because I did part of a “Conversation of Cultural materials course” but quit the degree it to go to art school instead. It did however force me to do two years of chemistry at the university level and that came in handy when I started to retrain myself as a professional artist after Art school.
